The Assistant Brand Manager's role is to work in direct collaboration with the Brand Manager to execute the Marketing plans for CHANEL F&B. The assistant is responsible for the coordination and production of promotional materials, development of marketing guidelines and liaising with the Sales Force. The assistant will also complete various business analyses under the direction of the brand manager. All responsibilities will need to respect the objectives of the brands and the corresponding budgets.


  1. Development and production of promotional materials
  2. Coordinate the production of support materials to meet the needs of the business – ensuring work is on time, within budget and respecting brand guidelines
  3. Sourcing and working with suppliers and ensure best costs while ensuring timely execution and quality production
  4. Marketing support: Presentations / Books / Guidelines
  5. Assist in the development of PowerPoint presentations as required.
  6. Ensure the production of the marketing tools are completed for each campaign
  7. Coordination with MPOS team
  8. Support the merchandising POS team with the creation and implementation of campaign guidelines
  9. Assure the merchandising direction is uniform on all points of sale and in accordance of the brand image
  10. Analysis
  11. Measure the effectiveness of various marketing initiatives: costs, benefits
  12. Participate in competitive reviews, market studies and any other analysis that would assist the marketing team to better understand the business opportunities within the Canadian market
  13. Retailer Communication
  14. Prepare communication on marketing programs
  15. Market visit
  16. Ensure the flawless execution of the campaign guidelines , pictures of stores and post mortem feedbacks
  17. Competitive review

The ideal candidate for this position witll have the following professional and personal background:

  1. University degree in Marketing
  2. A minimum of 2 years in a similar position
  3. Experience in the Cosmetics industry
  4. Bilingualism (French & English) will be considered a very strong asset
  5. Excellent knowledge of MS office tools with strong emphasis on PowerPoint
  6. Navigate internet to seek suppliers, competitive information or other research
  7. Strong analytical skills, able to create and understand business spreadsheets
  8. Works well in team atmosphere, can accept delegation 
  9. Detail oriented and well organized
  10. Good time management skills
  11. Able to develop promotional marketing materials through local suppliers
  12. Can assist with producing marketing communication: PowerPoint presentations to retailers and sales force
  13. Ability to prepare various analysis to support the brand manager
